4 MANAGEMENT
The management of the Society shall be vested in a Committee to be elected by the members at each Annual General Meeting.  The Committee shall consist of a maximum of twelve members and shall elect from their number a Chairman, an Honorary Treasurer and an Honorary Secretary. Three members shall form a quorum.
Three members of the Committee including officers will retire each year in rotation and will be eligible for re-election if they so desire. The Committee shall appoint such staff as the activities of the Society may require

5 POWER TO CO-OPT
The Committee shall have power to co-opt members to fill casual vacancies and members so appointed shall hold office for the remainder of the term of the member in whose vacancy they are appointed.

6 MEETINGS OF THE COMMITTEE
The Committee shall meet on notice being given by the Honorary Secretary or Chairman, or any three members of the Committee may at any time convene a meeting by giving not less than seven days notice.

7 CHAIRMAN AT MEETINGS
The Chairman, or in his absence, any member nominated by those present, shall preside at meetings of the Committee and have a casting vote.

8 MEMBERS
Membership of the Society shall be open to Bahraini and British subjects who have resided in Bahrain or who have interests there whether commercial,cultural or otherwise and any Bahraini or British subjects who are interested in fostering the aims of the Society.
Acceptance of any person into any category of membership is at the discretion of the Committee.

9 CORPORATE MEMBERS
The Committee shall have power to invite commercial and other organisations to become Corporate members of the Society at an agreed subscription.
Corporate members shall have the right to nominate up to four representatives who shall enjoy the rights of full membership.

10 ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
Associate membership shall be open to any company or persons of any nationality other than Bahraini or British who have resided in Bahrain or who have interests in that country.  The proportion of Associate members shall not exceed 30% of the total Ordinary and Associate membership and such members shall pay the same subscription as that payable by Ordinary members.

RECORD OF ELECTION
The election of every member, Ordinary,Associate or Corporate, shall be recorded in the minutes of the Committee and the Honary secretary shall notify the member by letter of his election.
